Nominate A Business for the 2008 Beautification Awards Today!
The Envelope Please...
Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful
proudly opens nominations for the 22nd Annual Beautification Awards
presented at the Mayor's State of the City Address on January 24th,
2008. First, second and third choice awards will be presented in four
categories recognizing buildings and facilities within the city limits
which show exceptional “curb appeal” in their appearance.
The four categories for
judging are:
- New
Construction with Landscaping
-
Exterior Reconstructing with Landscaping
-
Maintenance of Existing Facilities & Landscaping
-
Historical/Cultural Preservation
Judging will be done on exterior
of building only and all work must be completed by nominating deadline.
Deadline for nominations are Wednesday, October 27th. Judging will
take place first week in November.
Winners will be judged on:

Architectural Design, General Maintenance
-
Landscaping, Screening of Utilities
-
Improvement of Facilities
-
Historical Preservation
-
Parking Lot Beautification

Buildings from all
over Riverside were nominated and judged in the categories of New
Construction with Landscaping, Exterior Reconstruction or Remodel with
Landscaping, Maintenance of Existing Facilities and Landscaping, and
Historic/Cultural Preservation and winners have been selected for
first, second, and third place. Those winners were announced at the
Mayor’s State of the City Address at Riverside Convention Center on
January 26, 2006.
